oversight
As children play, I am moved…
recognizing
this alienated part of self.
Once as a child,
I was so full of wonder
and possibility.
The innocence of this time in life
eventually gave way
to experience
and beliefs
and decisions
and control...
At what point
do we cease to notice
and live
the wonder and the joy?
At what point do we stop seeing
the possibilities
and unlimited creation
of our lives?
